If you didn’t know, HubSpot is the internet’s leading digital marketing platform (no, they don’t pay me).

Years ago, I did some training with them and, in one session, someone asked, “How often should I post to my business blog?”

The answer caught me off guard and changed the way I think about marketing my business, especially online.

The trainer asked, “How often do you want to be seen?”

Marketing is about quantity, especially online. Quality certainly matters, but the point is to flood the internet with your content. Think of it as fishing – the more lines in the water, the more chances you have to catch a fish.

HubSpot isn’t the only one who thinks this. Marketing influencers Gary Vaynerchuk and Seth Godin agree in this article and this one.

The quality will get better over time (read Gary V’s article), but you should start putting out content – a blog or social post, video, something – today.

It works, trust me.

You’re reading this, aren’t you?
